Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Industrial sector based in Winston Salem, North Carolina, United States. We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you'll be in charge of ensuring the efficient handling of customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and handling customer inquiries. You will also monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Manage and rectify discrepancies in accounts

• Oversee collections and ensure timely recovery of dues

• Handle deposit refunds as per company policies

• Generate invoices based on project milestones

• Maintain precise records of all accounts receivable transactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and QuickBooks for various financial operations

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy in accounts

• Manage cash applications and cash collections effectively

• Engage in commercial collections and ensure adherence to all relevant policies. Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in an Accounts Receivable role within the Industrial or construction setting

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, with a proven track record of effectively resolving discrepancies

• Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Solid understanding of Billing processes and procedures

• Experience with Cash Applications, including the accurate and timely processing of payments

• Proven ability in managing Cash Collections, with a focus on maintaining low levels of outstanding debt

• Experience in Commercial Collections within the Industrial sector

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets and perform data analysis

• Familiarity with Oracle and its applications in an Accounts Receivable context

• Experience in using QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
