Job Description
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of Aerospace and Industrial Gas Turbine New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. The PM will lead cross-functional teams from pre-quote and concurrent engineering through the production launch of all programs. They will ensure each program meets or exceeds original customer program commitments and internal program commitments.
Responsibilities
Establish key milestones and targets from across the organization to help define the product roadmap.
Ensure teams are engaged at the right time and maturity stage for successful program development.
Evaluate and prioritize tasks to support program development efforts effectively.
Drive data-driven decision-making processes with inputs from various stakeholders.
Execute tasks to ensure the program stays on track and de-risk the roadmap.
Communicate engineering strategy and vision to technical stakeholders.
Note and address risks with adequate time and resources.
Work closely with teams including process engineering, finance, logistics, EHS, manufacturing, quality engineering, legal, technical operations, and business strategy/programs.
Act as the primary interface with customers.
Oversee multiple customer-related project activities and new product introduction.
Manage customer portfolio, forecast planning, order management, and formulating quoting strategies.
Monitor internal and external progress of customer programs.
Build and maintain relationships with upper management in both internal and external organizations.
Support customer matters which could impact customer relations or delay requirements.
Liaise with Production Control, Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance on projects.
Generate plans and strategies for program success.
Communicate with customers and internal peers on open items and key projects.

BS degree in Engineering
Minimum of 3 years of program management experience
Engineering experience preferred
Experience in the aerospace, machining, or power generation sector preferred
PMP certification preferred
Work Environment
The Winstead location specializes in precision machining and castings with 120 CNC machines, 40% of which are 5-axis. The engineering department consists of 11 people, with plans to add 3 more engineers this year. The dress code is professional/casual with jeans and professional shirts, and steel-toe shoes. Office hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a ½ hour lunch break, and there is some flexibility in start and stop times. There is a pool table available for use during lunch breaks. The location is in the quiet northwest corner of the state, with ample restaurants and shopping within 5-10 minutes.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
