RTP Company Site Master Planner (Onsite) in Winona, Minnesota
The Site Master Planner is responsible for maintaining finished & raw material inventory levels for their assigned production site(s) at an appropriate level to allow production to operate efficiently while meeting our customers delivery expectations for Stock agreements, Make-To-Stock products while also meeting inventory objectives. This position requires a high degree of analytical/statistical capability with a combination of both strategic and tactical skills to optimize the complex balance between customer expectations, inventory, lead-time, lot-size and other supply chain factors. The role interfaces with Sales Engineers, Customer Service, Accounting, Materials Planning, Purchasing, and Manufacturing. Work Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday Position can be located at our corporate offices in Winona, Minnesota or our Fort Worth, Texas facility. **Not eligible for work sponsorship Responsibilities Monitor, apply judgment and react to inventory levels of manufactured finished goods to achieve customer and business objectives. Place internal orders based on customer forecasts, web portals and re-order points. Maintain appropriate quantities and completion dates to balance service levels and inventory. Weekly inventory reporting and review with customers and internal teams Maintain safety stock levels Communicate material supply issues proactively. Identify slow moving and excess stock and develop plans for depletion Review and recommend restocking fees on customer requested returns. Formally inform customers through product coordination team of obsoleted formulas. Analyze production trends as well as historical usage and forecasted demand Maintain and develop KPI s critical to site supply chain metrics Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.
