Gundersen Health System is recruiting for a BC/BE General Surgeon to join an established rural practice in our Winona, MN location. Practice Highlights Robotic Surgery experience required Obesity Medicine Clinic 1-2 days/week required Potential Call responsibilities Practice state of the art medicine and connect with the entire GHS system with digital radiology, telemedicine, and an integrated medical record (EPIC) The practice includes responsibilities for GI scopes and a mix of general surgery cases to offer the appeal of a well-rounded practice Our surgeons use the latest in technology, including daVinci Robot system to provide world-class care Winona, MN, is a picturesque city located along the Mississippi River in southeastern Minnesota. Known for its rich history and vibrant arts scene, it is home to several historic buildings, parks, and the renowned Winona State University. The city offers a variety of outdoor recreational activities, including hiking, boating, and fishing, making it a charming destination for both residents and visitors. Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system.
