Acosta Group Merchandiser in Winnipeg, Manitoba

DESCRIPTION

As a General Merchandiser at Acosta Mosaic, you will play a crucial role in managing the overall visual appearance and sales performance of our clients’ products. You will be responsible for ensuring that our merchandise is strategically displayed, visually appealing, and contributes to maximizing sales and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of consumer behavior, and a passion for delivering exceptional shopping experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and execute merchandising strategies in accordance with company guidelines and objectives.

  • Coordinate with the client team to develop promotional displays and campaigns to drive sales.

  • Maintain and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock and timely replenishment.

  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers maintain positive relationships.

  • Conduct regular store walkthroughs to ensure compliance with merchandising standards and address any issues promptly.

  • Monitor competitors' merchandising strategies and recommend adjustments to stay competitive in the market.

  • Assist in the execution of seasonal and thematic displays to enhance the customer shopping experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in merchandising, preferably in a retail or grocery environment.

  • Strong understanding of merchandising and their application in a retail or grocery setting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Creative mindset with the ability to think innovatively and strategically.

  • Ability to travel within a given territory.

  • Strong understanding of technological devices.
