Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in WINCHESTER, Kentucky, United States. This role primarily revolves around accounting tasks, including account reconciliation, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and billing. This role, which falls within the finance industry, offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Organizing and boxing up audited files for storage

• Ensuring all purchase orders for the fiscal year are accounted for and prepared for audit

• Preparing purchase order files for the upcoming fiscal year

• Updating the capital listing for the fiscal year's audit

• Tracking employee uniform usage and updating records accordingly

• Performing data entry tasks for purchase orders

• Preparing budget binders for commission and department heads

• Filing and organizing documents for the finance office

• If possible, organizing storage areas and preparing files for destruction as per requirements Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.

• Familiarity with Accounting Reconciliation processes.

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.

• Hands-on experience with Billing procedures.

• Proficiency in Data Entry tasks.

• Demonstrable ability in Invoice Processing.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

• Experience with Oracle financial software.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software.

• Proficiency in SAP financial software.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
