What you’ll do:

• Responsible for the deployment of supplier quality assurance and improvement activities to ensure delivery of on time and conforming supplier product.

• Supplier Quality Subject Matter Expert and key point of contact for suppliers for Quality Matters

• Works alongside Supply Chain and Supplier Development organisation, interfacing directly with suppliers to minimise business risk.

Reports to Supplier Quality Leader, Direct reports - None, Indirect reports - N/A

Key responsibilities

• Subject Matter expert and initial point of contact for Supplier Quality matters at allocated Approved Supplier List (ASL) suppliers

• Implementation of plant supplier inspection process requirements accordance with supplier status and customer/regulatory requirements

• Completion of supplier source inspection process and management of applicable delegation process

• Manage supplier deviations for supplied product including root cause and corrective action (DMR) with suppliers and Supply Chain Centre of Excellence team.

• Maintain the ASL providing recommendations for ASL additions, deletion, and scope changes in accordance with plant specific needs.

• Support and perform supplier assessments as needed to support Supplier Development efforts or plant specific needs

• Drive supplier Quality such as APQP, to compliment Supplier Development efforts such as Focus Suppliers, or plant specific needs.

• Escalate and Obtain engagement for significant performance issues through the SDE organization such as supper escapes.

Qualifications:

• HND/HNC or equivalent experience

• Sound knowledge of Aerospace QA standards (AS9100 series/ Pt21 / Pt145, DAOS etc)

• Knowledge of APQP deployment and associated RCCA / problem solving

• Developed abilities in Internal and External Auditing

• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes/systems and techniques

• Detailed of MSD Products (AAR and Actuation) preferred

• Deliver to promise and act as the Voice of the Customer

• Act as one team to help each Other With internal and external customers

• Proactive problem solver who assists by providing solutions

• Promote Eaton in a positive light in all dealings with Suppliers and Customers

• Remain positive even when facing a challenge
