Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
We are seeking a Level II or III Industrial Maintenance Mechanic with 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, lockout/tagout/tryout, and automated equipment operations. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and capable of working independently during certain shifts. Training will be provided for routine equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
Perform assembly and disassembly of mechanical machines and facilities equipment.
Conduct technical troubleshooting of equipment failures to identify and resolve root causes of malfunctions.
Execute preventative maintenance tasks.
Configure and repair plumbing systems.
Assist in brazing operations.
Support Controls and Automation Technicians with basic electrical, PLC/controls, and automation troubleshooting and repairs.
Essential Skills
5+ years of professional experience or equivalent technical training in the maintenance of pneumatic, electrical, vacuum, or mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral.
Proficiency in shop mathematics, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Understanding of both SAE and Metric measurements.
Capacity to prioritize and manage changing tasks and duties.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Level II: Minimum of four years work experience in a manufacturing environment as a maintenance mechanic, with two years of technical training or coursework credited as two years work experience.
Level III: 7+ years of advancing position levels of applied technical experience as a mechanic or in electrics/controls/electronics/automation, with two years of technical training or coursework credited as two years work experience.
Preferred but not required: Experience with PLC/electrical/electronics/robotics systems and knowledge of arc flash safety.

Work Environment
Work is conducted in an industrial manufacturing plant setting. The shift is Tuesday through Saturday, from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm, with possible variations during the training period. Our company uses state-of-the-art metal injection molding (MIM) technology to create high-performing small precision metal components.
