ManpowerGroup Electrician in Wilson, North Carolina
Title: Electrician
Location: SHARENC1001-Wilson, 1900-A Stantonsburg Rd
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with rotational on-call and overtime (OT).
Assignment Duration: 3 months (potential for conversion to FTE)
Pay Rate: $30 to $34/hr on W2
Key Responsibilities
Work on systems less than 600 volts.
Perform preventative maintenance.
Modify or create electrical circuits.
Oversee and manage outside vendors.
Assist with general maintenance tasks.
Complete work orders accurately and on time.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the team.
Required Qualifications
Years of Experience: 5+ years in a similar role.
Education: High school diploma or GED (formal apprenticeship program preferred).
Licenses/Certifications:
Limited Electrical License.
OSHA Certification Course (preferred).
Valid Driver’s License required. Systems/Software: CMMS tool knowledge (a plus but not required).
Top Must-Have Skills
Commercial/Industrial Electrical Experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to create and send reports to customers.
Expertise in minimizing safety risks, including knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
Top Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience working in critical facilities.
Familiarity with responding to emergencies.
Prior experience with DDC (Direct Digital Controls) and EMS (Energy Management Systems).
Additional Requirements:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers.
Financial literacy, including knowledge of operating budgets and conducting basic financial analysis.
Intermediate problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
Proficiency with personal computers, work order systems, email, ESS (Employee Self-Service), and training tools.
