Description
Now is the time to become part of a growing premier facility that helps individuals restore their lives. WILMINGTON TREATMENT CENTER is adding another 28 beds and will become the largest facility in NC treating Substance Use Disorder. This position is responsible for providing therapeutic services to patients and functions as a direct liaison to the Director of Admissions regarding the status of the therapeutic community.
Qualifications:
Two-year experience in the substance abuse field.
Peer Support experience preferred.
CPI, CPR (Offered at facility). CAC or SEAP preferred.
Specialized training or knowledge in chemical dependency treatment.
Ability to work with male and female, adult (18-over) substance abuse/dually diagnosed population
Job functions:
Responds promptly to complete face-to-face field inquirie
Conducts/completes pre-admission inquiries
Schedules admissions assessments
Reviews prospective admissions against approved admission criteria, policies, and procedures
Assists prospective patients and significant others in seeking treatment
Refers inquiries to other agencies and community resources when not appropriate for facility assistance or admission
