FUNCTIONS AND JOB DUTIES:

  • Cook and prepare food according to approved menus.

  • Direct activities of those who assist in preparing and serving meals.

  • Take inventory of supplies and equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures, quality standards, cost parameters, and appropriate regulatory requirements.

    REQUIREMENTS:

  • One-year experience as a cook.

  • Knowledge of standard practice, procedures and equipment required in the food industry.

  • Crisis Prevention and CPR certifications (offered on site)

  • Ability to work with male and female adult (18+) patients with chemical dependency and mental health disorders

PREFERRED:

  • High school or GED equivalent

  • Cooking experience in a healthcare or restaurant setting

  • Knowledge of state health codes.

  • ServSafe certification
