Job Summary: LINC, Inc. is looking for a dynamic and strategic Comptroller to become a pivotal member of our leadership team. This position reports directly to the Executive Director, leading financial, business planning, budgeting, human resources, and administrative functions. The Comptroller will play a key role in strategic decision-making and operations, helping to build and strengthen our internal capacity. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and experience with fund accounting and federal grant requirements are essential. Financial Management:**
- Ensure all financial transactions and reporting comply with GAAP Oversee all financial, project/program, and grants accounting.
- Prepare and present monthly and annual financial statements.
- Manage and ensure accurate use of QuickBooks Online for all financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance.
- Monitor cash flow and reserve levels to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Strategic Planning:
- Coordinate and direct financial planning, budgeting, and investment activities.
- Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objectives.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organizations growth and sustainability.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, particularly federal grant guidelines and fund accounting standards.
- Conduct and coordinate audits of company accounts and financial transactions.
- Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local financial regulations and ensure organizational compliance.
Leadership and Communication:
- Lead and develop finance and administrative staff.
- Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to employees, vendors, and stakeholders at city, county, state, and federal levels.
- Serve as a liaison to external partners, including banking, insurance, and external accounting personnel, to facilitate financial activities.
Grant Management:
- Manage the financial aspects of federal and state grants, including compliance, reporting, and monitoring of fund usage.
- Ensure all grant-related financial activities are accurately documented and compliant with relevant guidelines.
