Job Summary

Responsible for assisting with the development, Implementation and evaluation of clinical team members educational needs within the Novant Health Medical Group. Assess, plan, implement and improve methods and processes of education and training in order to enhance team members job performance and to maintain clinical compliance with regulatory and state requirements.Maintains a working knowledge and serves as a resource to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations including Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission, OSHA, and other related regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate Degree, preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare industry, required. Experience in a physician practice in a clinical , accreditation and regulatory or management position, required.

  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. Certification in Professional Healthcare Quality, required.

  • Additional Skills (required): Months of employment Consulting, team-oriented, supportive and cooperative attitude. Utilizes appropriate decision making strategies, based on the individual situation: authoritative, consultative, consensus. Exhibits self-direction, independent practice and excellent time management skills. Able to continuously re-prioritize, demonstrate flexibility, and process multiple issues simultaneously. Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity, modeling behavior and language that is inclusive, and nurturing an environment where it is acceptable to discuss differences and issues of diversity. Practices with a questioning attitude.
