Objectives:
Oversee the daily warehouse activities to assure that work is carried out in a manner consistent with established quality standards. Establish a teamwork approach to all tasks and nurture professional relationships with other departments and divisions in order to exceed customer expectations. Ensure accurate and timely processing of materials.
Responsibilities:
Ensures all incoming receipts are fully processed (Peoplesoft and CAMs) and material properly stored on a daily basis. Maintains proper storage and handling of all warehouse locations and products. Ensures that the warehouse is in a clean and orderly condition at all times and that adequate security is maintained.
Coordinates shipments with selected carriers. Monitors and reports on all Bausch & Lomb distribution facilities to ensure conformance to established service level requirements.
Performs cycle counts and assists with maintenance of inventory control. Monitors inventory levels to better service key customers by managing product allocations. Communicates inventory issues to appropriate individuals. Participates in the coordination and implementation of special marketing programs.
Establishes a teamwork approach to all tasks and nurtures professional relationships with other departments and divisions in order to meet/exceed customer expectations. Ensures compliance with QSR/ISO regulations, the site’s quality system requirements and internal documents and policies.
Support the order fulfilment process to ensure orders are processed, invoiced, and shipped on time.
Assembles kits as required, fill and delivers stock requests for internal customers.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree a plus
2-4 years customer service experience – shipping/receiving warehouse experience preferred
Working knowledge of MS Office, particularly spreadsheet and word processing software
Strong telephone communication skills.
Accurate recordkeeping skills.
Familiarity with GMP/ISO requirements pertaining to manufacturing operations.
