We are seeking a talented test engineer with a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background to support a major US Army Program. As a Test Engineer, you will perform planning, coordination, and execution of component, subsystem, and system level tests as well as other evaluation activities across the program. A strong candidate will possess at least 1-3 years related experience. You will have the opportunity to work in a multi-disciplined team environment and directly support our nation's war fighters. Please note that this position is contingent upon the award of funding. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application once a decision has been made. Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and schedule test and evaluation activities to ensure that test requirements and objectives are met per customer/program requirements and engineering and quality standards

  • Prepare and/or review test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews and test reports for functional, environmental, and field tests

  • Support in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of telemetry systems, data recorders, high speed cameras, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and other test instrumentation

  • Support customer test activities including product installation, integration, test, data acquisition and analysis

  • Perform preliminary “quick-look” analysis and provide post-test debriefs to engineering team and customers

  • Coordinate with appropriate program, engineering, and external organizations during test planning, execution, analysis and reporting phases

  • Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills

  • 10 - 15% Travel

  • ! Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 1-3 years related experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge and/or experience using electrical/mechanical test instrumentation is a plus

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain Government Security Clearance; Active Secret clearance preferred

  • Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and have good organizational skills How We Care
