MKS Instruments Inc Facilities Technician in Wilmington, Massachusetts
A Day in Your Life at MKS:As a Facilities Technician at MKS Instruments, you will partner with the different engineering and operational groups in the MA facilities. In this role, you will report to the MA Senior Facilities Manager.You Will Make an Impact By:
Keeping and making the MA MKS Facilities safer, energy efficient and functional for the manufacturing and design of complex semiconductor tooling.
You will work with engineering, operations and facilities to install new equipment and processes. You will help to maximize the required maintenance needs of the different systems at the different MKS facilities.• Gas Detection systems. daily operations, calibrations and expanding the system as needed.• HVAC Systems, ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the different systems in the facilities.• Building management systems, ensure that the system is functional and tracking the different HVAC systems properly.• Travel Requirements: Between the different facilities, averaging 4 times a week.
Skills You Bring:
Detail oriented. Trouble shooting. Problem solving
5-10 years of job-related work experience in commercial HVAC
5-10 years of job-related work experience with gas detection systems
Good documentation skills
Able to travel locally between different MKS facilities
Preferred Skills:
Ability to work through and trouble shoot complex systems.
Install complex systems and network them together.
Works well with others, team focused.
Wastewater license/experience
Wastewater treatment license preferred, not required.
