JPMorgan Chase Risk Management Area Product Owner Fraud Risk Payments, Managing Director in Wilmington, Delaware

As the Area Product Owner for Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) Fraud Risk's Monetary Decisions, this role will be accountable for the product roadmap, advancing and innovating on fraud capabilities and maintaining operational excellence across the team including in technology deployments for the fraud management of all digital payments(e.g. Zelle, wire, rewards), check and credit and debit point of sale transactions. Additionally, this role represents Risk in firmwide Fraud working groups, providing subject matter expertise and partnership. This role will be part of the CCB Risk organization and will provide cross functional leadership and be a peer and trusted colleague to many product owners, as well as business functions, across both CCB and Commercial and Investment Bank (CIB). This role includes a high level of collaboration with internal and external partners to refine the product strategy and deliver on business commitments.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Drive engagement and interact with senior business leaders, leveraging strong business and fraud knowledge and expertise.

  • Engage with technology executives, business leaders, Chief Risk Officers and Heads of CCB Risk and Fraud Center of Excellence on the product roadmap(s) and technology capabilities for the Monetary Fraud Risk area product.

  • Lead a team that supports the Fraud loss line owners, software developers and engineers.

  • Drive the agile process with deep acumen of the agility operating model.

  • Build a deep understanding of impacted customers, including both internal stakeholders and external / end users and customers.

  • Manage teams in a highly technical environment, including the management of product vision, roadmaps and product backlogs across multiple monetary areas, value proposition, sprint planning/review, and iterative releases.

  • Migrate platforms, services, and applications in large scale, end to end modernization efforts

  • Develop and deliver new, innovative product features to manage fraud, in close partnership with key product areas involved in the end to end customer journey.

  • Coordinate with other Product teams, building relationships and rapport to exert influence across many disparate areas to gain consensus and drive solutions.

  • Support the fraud community and manage a myriad of stakeholders across CCB and CIB business and product areas.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills.

  • 10+ years' experience in product ownership/management, financial services industry and management and 2+ years actively involved in an Agile/Scrum environment

  • Fraud experience, either in a Product environment or within Fraud Strategy / Fraud Operations leadership

  • Comfortable utilizing Jira, Confluence

  • Demonstrated leadership in product development (taking products from conception to release), as well as experience with project and stakeholder management

  • Understanding and experience with identifying and building/managing controls

  • Experience in working with and leading data-driven organizations

  • Knowledge of development and project management methodologies, best practices, and tools (Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

  • A willingness to help and share knowledge with other team members

  • Experience in working with diverse teams, involving different cultures / locations

  • An experienced leader of cross product initiatives in complex environments

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering or other relevant field

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Extensive experience in Fraud Management specifically in monetary transaction types (e.g. wires, check, point of sale)

  • AWS Certification(s) with experience implementing AWS and/or other cloud services.

  • Experience working with financial services risk organizations

  • Versed in Software DevOps and Cloud Operating Models

  • A Master's degree in a technical discipline, or the background and experience that demonstrates a similar level of strong programming skills and practices
