  • Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 HR

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team as an HR Startup Specialist. This individual will play a crucial role in establishing our HR department and infrastructure as we expand into the US market. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in setting up HR departments, payroll systems, employee benefits, staffing programs, tax compliance, and employee handbooks.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the HR department, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations.

  • Develop and implement payroll systems, including setting up tax numbers and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments.

  • Design and administer employee benefits packages, including health insurance and retirement plans.

  • Create and manage staffing programs to recruit, onboard, and retain qualified in-home healthcare workers.

  • Develop comprehensive employee handbooks outlining company policies and procedures.

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters.

  • Collaborate with leadership to strategize long-term HR goals and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; however, relevant experience will be considered.

  • Proven experience in setting up HR departments and infrastructure, preferably within startup environments.

  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare HR practices and regulations, particularly in Medicare/Medicaid services.

  • Demonstrated expertise in payroll administration, employee benefits, and tax compliance.

  • Strong understanding of recruitment strategies and talent acquisition in the healthcare industry.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote/virtual environment.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Comfortable working autonomously and "running their own shop."

Schedule and Compensation:

  • This position will start as a part-time role, initially requiring 10 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 20+ hours per week as the company grows.

  • Compensation will be in the range of $30-35 per hour.

  • This position offers the opportunity for a long-term fit, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and company needs.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
