The Global Strategy and Marketing Leader will drive the development of Industrial Solutions portfolio strategy (organic and inorganic), as well as collaborate to define the execution roadmaps, investments and resources needed to achieve double-digit revenue growth for the portfolio by 2027. This role is highly visible and has responsibility for a global team with 8-10 direct reports and an equal number of matrixed reports. They will build trust, working directly with the VP/GM and business directors to identify & develop new business opportunities and be responsible for leading the strategic marketing competency for Industrial Solution. We offer a hybrid working environment, with a blend of time in the office and working from home as desired.

The position requires a highly qualified, analytical, and strategic thinker with strong business acumen, organic and inorganic growth expertise, and a background with industrial businesses. The following capabilities are critical to the success of the Global Strategy & Growth Leader:

Your Key Responsibilities :

  • Together with the Leadership Team, own the overall Industrial Solutions business strategy and translate the strategic plan into detailed execution plans via differential management and capability building across technologies, markets, and regions

  • Identify growth opportunities based on customer needs and market drivers within existing platforms as well as in adjacent white spaces; Deep dive into markets evaluating them along structural dimensions of attractiveness & develop deep domain knowledge of such new markets through primary/proprietary market work

  • Develop a consolidated strategic vision and collaborating with business and function directors, prioritize the pipeline into either new R&D, commercial or business model projects to achieve double-digit growth; execute the same with a sense of urgency and advance our progress to the $3B growth aspiration

  • Lead business development efforts for key growth platforms including the evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities across global market segments

  • Build M&A pipeline for enabling market entry including leading the outside-in diligence on identified acquisition candidates and cultivation of targets in partnership with the VP/GM

  • Connect, build, and position the Industrial Solutions commercial team as a world-class organization that embraces a learning mindset, personal accountability, and defines best practices for the commercial excellence including competitive intelligence, value selling & promotion, thought leadership & lead generation across all segments

Your Qualification Profile:

  • 10+ years of marketing and stratgey experience in industrial markets. In-depth understanding of the customer’s processes needs and industry.

  • Solid business skills & financial acumen demonstrated by impact on profitable outcomes

  • Experience setting vision, strategy and direction and developing detailed strategic business plans

  • Proven track record of assessing and valuing adjacent markets.

  • Experience in M&A target cultivation and deal execution

  • Global experience leading global (cross-functional) teams and driving profitable results

  • Experience leading teams and managing direct reports to ensure high performance, accountability, and proactive talent development

  • Technical undergraduate degree and/or MBA preferred
