Robert Half AP Coordinator in Wilmington, Delaware
Description
Non-Profit, located in the Greater Wilmington Delaware area is looking to add an AP Coordinator to their finance department. The responsibilities for this role will consist of processing vendor invoices, expense reporting, assisting with coding of invoices, processing credit card transactions, verifying and updating vendor accounts, weekly check runs, entering journal entries, processing general ledger reconciliations, analyzing accounts payable transactions for accuracy, preparing documents for audits, and resolving accounts payable discrepancies. Ideally, we are seeking an AP Specialist who can perform day to day financial transactions utilizing their knowledge of best practices in accounting and bookkeeping.
How you will make an impact
· Oversee full accounts payable cycle
· Code invoices and match purchases
· Prepare check runs, via ACH and wire transfer
· Employee expense report processing
· Process cash receipts
· Implement process improvement
· Resolve invoice discrepancies
· Prepare financial reports and statements
· Assist with AR transactions as needed
· Reconcile AP statements
· Perform accounting research
Requirements
The ideal AP Coordinator will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the AP Coordinator role include and are not limited to:
· 5+ years of full cycle AP experience
· Strong Excel (Creating spreadsheets, manipulating data, pivot tables)
· Blackbaud experience a plus
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
