Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

• Seeking an experienced Quality Inspector from a manufacturing or machine shop setting, proficient in part orientation, geometric tolerancing, surface finishes, and overall cosmetic appearances.

• This role involves supervising quality measures across various processes and requires conducting first piece, in-process, and final inspections daily.

• Responsibilities also include using quality tools like gage pins, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges effectively.

• The role demands complete traceability for each job, managing heavy components (lifting up to 40 lbs. may be required), maintaining records of material certifications, compliance, dimensional reports, and fulfilling customer requests.

• Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's) is preferred

Hard Skills

• Quality Inspection in metal manufacturing or machine shop setting

• Use of depth micrometers and calipers

• Reading and deciphering geometric tolerancing blueprints

• Handling extremely small tolerances

Soft Skills

• Effective supervision of quality measures

• Maintaining detailed records

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

The work environment is not temperature-controlled and spans across 3 separate buildings.
