Job Overview:
The Driver will play an essential role in delivering nuclear pharmacy products and services to and from the company\'s clients consisting of hospitals, physician\'s offices, community medical centers and other hospital and medical facilities.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Ensures thetimelydelivery of nuclear pharmacy products to predetermined customers on specific routes while meeting internal schedule and quality standards. Follow map/directions tolocatedelivery locations efficiently.
- Unloads products as per client specifications while providing excellent customer service.
- Acts as a customer service liaison for the company, including treating all internal and external customers with respect, listening to andassistingin resolving customer complaints. Informs management of complaints or requestsin a timely manner.
- Accepts returns from clients where applicable.
- Completesappropriate paperworkfor deliveries and returns.
- Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the inside and outside of delivery vehicles and facility.Assists with the stocking of products and supplies throughout Facility as well as tracking inventory.Notifies Pharmacy Manager when products or supplies are low, need to be re-ordered or replaced.
- Performs routine safety checks on vehicles and pre-trip vehicle inspections according to company guidelines. Immediatelyreportall vehicle maintenance issues or malfunctions tothe PharmacyManager.
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures while safely carrying out the responsibilities of position.Complies withall company safety standards, and all federal,stateand local laws.
- Obtains required DOT training and certification.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Pharmacy Manager such assetting up boxes for packaging and delivery as well as cleaning in the general labandassistin making deliveries locally when necessary.
