Overview
As our Rad Tech at CHI Williston Health, you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.
Every day you could perform any variety of imaging examinations such as; x-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, to name a few. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis.

We are offering a $30,000 Sign-On Bonus in addition to relocation to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
Responsibilities
Capable of obtaining quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding. Knows how to use portable x-ray machines and c-arms.
Assists Radiologist with Fluoroscopic procedures
Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedure
Able to use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation as necessary.
Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD’s, transfer images, and print from PACS.
Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the department
Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology
Required Licensure and Certifications
Registered Technologist in Radiography (RTR)
MRAD: North Dakota
American Heart Association BLS-CPR
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
Strong oral communications skills
Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
Strong critical thinking skills
Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities

Pay Range
$26.51 - $38.44 /hour
