Overview

Responsibilities
Must be able to perform the following tasks efficiently: perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings, prepare sterile field for suturing, assist provider with treatment when appropriate, apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy
Assists in making observations, gathering data, and identifying patient care needs
Assists with patient transports and transfers
Answer telephones, filing, greet patients/visitors, transcribe provider’s orders, electronic data entry, and assist with documentation
Assists with cleaning, stocking, and maintenance of department equipment and supplies
Practices safe work habits, compliance with safety rules and regulations, and adheres to safety policies
Utilizes resources appropriately and follows facility guidelines, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
Required Licensure and Certifications
Certified Nurse Assistant; North Dakota, required.
ND State Nursing Assistant Registry - https://services.ndhhs.gov/nurseaide
American Hearth Association Basic Life Support (BLS)-CPR.
within 30 days of start.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
Strong oral communications skills
Ability to deal with conflict and difficult people
Strong critical thinking skills
Knowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processes
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Pay Range
$15.56 - $21.40 /hour
