Compensation
$18.15 per hour
Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
Assure effective and consistent supervision of Crisis Counseling Rooms and In-School Suspension areas.
Contribute to the effective team management of behavior of program students, and to the implementation of Individual Education Plans. Assure that methods of intervention with students are employed in a therapeutic manner, are responsive to individual student needs, and are consistent with agency policy and each student's Individual Education/Treatment Plan. Assure that necessary information regarding student progress is communicated to involved staff in a timely manner.
Support and enhance classroom functioning by providing individualized attention as needed, and by performing other duties (such as: organizing and supervising special activities, providing transportation of students as needed, assisting in outreach to parents) as assigned.
Maintain thorough and timely documentation of significant incidents. Maintain daily log of utilization of Crisis Counseling Rooms, In-School Suspension; compile monthly summaries of same.
Ensure that support staff function effectively individually and as a unit by actively contributing to the process of selection, training and development of Teacher Aide, Substitute Teacher Aides and Substitute Teacher.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma and pertinent experience and/or training.
