Human Resource Representative - 3305
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: The Position Primary function and focus of this position is to provide administrative support to the Human Resource Department.
Responsibilities * Perform a variety of HR duties under the general direction of the HR Manager including data entry, correspondence, metrics and projects. * Provide support in creating and analyzing HR / Safety metrics and ensure data integrity. * Support recruiting initiatives by assisting in sourcing candidates, resume screening, scheduling phone interviews and onsite interviews as well as the on-boarding process. * Maintain payroll compliance and process timesheets for weekly and biweekly payrolls * Maintain daily safety checklist, tracking spreadsheet and binders. * Support and/or manage positive employee initiatives such as employee events, community involvement, electronic bulletin boards and so on. * Assist team members in benefit enrollments * Manage FMLA and Leave of Absence communications * Maintain attendance spreadsheets for all hourly team members * Manage probationary team member performance reviews and process any wage changes * Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications * 2 years applicable experience performing administrative functions required. * Previous experience in Human Resource preferred. * Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus. * Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality both within the department and the organization as a whole. * Ability to interface well with all departments within the Company, including international locations and represent the Human Resource Department in a highly professional manner. * Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and eternal contacts to the organization, using verbal or written communication skills. * Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of tasks * Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. * Ability to exercise initiative and judgment * Ability to manage time and set priorities in order to meet designated deadlines.
Education * High school diploma or equivalent * Undergraduate degree preferred (or currently pursuing)
