ManpowerGroup Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Williamsport, Maryland

*This is a permanent, direct hire position with full benefits. All shifts available.

Are you an experienced mechanical maintenance technician? Do you bring skills in Automation, Electrical, and Industrial facility technologies? Have you worked with conveyors and robotic systems in a production environment? Our client is seeking an industrious maintenance technician to serve in a critical role for their Williamsport, MD facility.

As a skilled Technician you could:

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain machinery.

• Work with pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, robotic and automation systems.

• Use digital multi-meters, schematics and mechanical drawings to define problem areas.

• Perform preventative maintenance activities.

• Install and set up machines and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A High School Diploma or Equivalent (Technical training and certifications a plus).

• 5 years’ experience in machine maintenance to include AC/DC circuits, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and mechanical drives and/or automated systems.

• Understanding of safety requirements, work orders and SOPs.

• General knowledge of electrical circuitry in a production environment.

• Ability to safely and effectively use a variety of hand tools.

• A good attendance record, strong work history and good references.
