Naval Medical Command SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (BIOMEDICAL) in Williamsburg, Virginia
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN (BIOMEDICAL) in the Biomedical Repair Department, Operations Directorate, navel Medical Readiness Logistics Command of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD. Responsibilities You will direct the mission essential medical equipment maintenance operations at the Navy’s only expeditionary hospital production facility. You will direct, coordinate, or oversee work of subordinate civilian and contract personnel. You will carry out Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policies and communication support of the policies to subordinates. You will initiate and direct maintenance planning and execution. You will serve as Electronics Technician (Biomedical), supporting a broad range of biomedical equipment through the equipment lifecycle. You will document all work performed in a computerized maintenance management system and maintain maintenance logs with each piece of equipment for documentation in a deployed environment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating, installing, maintaining, diagnosing, repairing and testing electronic equipment/systems used for such as in Military Treatment Facilities. Utilizing complex systems and large sophisticated patient monitoring systems. Implementing Electronics theory and medical procedures. Supervising performance of maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, overhaul, and surveillance testing of electronic components, medical equipment and systems, and modifications based on official guidance. Operating a wide variety of Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment to include invasive and non-invasive.
