Operate and maintain farm equipment at a corn and soybean farm in Central Missouri. Operate, monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all farm vehicles, tractors, implements and other equipment including a variety of late model 200hp- plus tractors, combines, planter tool bar, sprayer, grain cart scraper, skid steer, rack hoe, 40 feet- plus width tillage equipment, and older machinery; Drive, maintain and repair 18-wheel semi- truck with diesel engine (including with hopper bottom; with and without load of grain); Troubleshoot electrical/technical issues with equipment and identify method of repair; Operate GPS equipment; Organize and maintain maintenance shop for the farm; Supervise and mentor 3- 4 farm hands- make sure the work they do is completed. Requires six months of farm work and expertise in operating, maintaining and repairing newer and older farm machinery and equipment; ability to drive, maintain and repair semi-truck (including with 18-wheel hopper bottom; with and without load of grain); must be able to lift 75lb and over. Salary: 55,307/year
