Hiring Sheet Metal Fabricator in Wilkes-Barre, PA!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled sheet metal fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing various duct systems and HVAC equipment, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints. This role requires a willingness to drive to various job sites within 60 minutes of Wilkes-Barre and work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Install various duct systems including HVAC constant volume, HVAC variable air volume, grease duct, dust collection, vapor exhaust, general exhaust, and flues.

• Install duct joints such as slip and drive, TDC, ductmate, welded, and flanged.

• Install HVAC equipment including air handling units, roof-top units, VAV boxes, split systems AC units, terminal units, fans, commercial kitchen hoods, and make-up air units.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Layout jobs and hangers.

• Work independently and in a team.

Essential Skills

• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and duct work installation.

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience in commercial construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.

• Reliable Transportation.

• OSHA-10/30 certification (OSHA-10 is a must).

• Lift Certifications.
