Job Title: Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking skilled carpenters to join our team for a long-term project in Bear Creek Village, Luzerne County. This project involves constructing a year-round camp for children with special needs and disabilities, funded through the Tim Tebow Foundation. The position is contract-to-hire, with the goal of transitioning to a direct hire role after a successful 6-month assignment.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials.
Assemble and install framework including subflooring and walls.
Install windows, doors, and other fixtures.
Ensure structural integrity and adherence to building codes.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Essential Skills
Framing or rough carpentry experience
Reliable transportation
Own tools, including power tools
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1-2 years of commercial rough carpentry/framing experience

Work Environment
The work environment is a commercial construction job site, working four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $28.00
