This is a US Local National position in Germany. As such the employee will be subject to paying German taxes and be part of the German work force with all the benefits of HN employment and social system.

Under the supervision of the Logistics Supervisor, Responsible for providing technical advisory to the warehouse (SSA/LOM) operations and give guidance to personnel assigned to work therein; Responsible forproviding technical assistance for the receipt, issue, storage and accountability of specialized Electronic equipment and components in according with the Department of the Army and 2nd Theater Signal Brigade regulations and guidelines. Responsible for reviewing catalog data information on inventory assets for recommending correct course of action for receipt, storage, issue and/or disposition of assets.; Provides technical assistance for planning warehouse storage capabilities and makes storage layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inventory, and store material

  • Pull and issue material when requested

  • Responsible for providing technical guidance/advice and coordination to authorized customers forissue, turn-in andpick up of materiel from the Stock Record Account/List of Material Account.

  • Review Warehouse storage requirements daily and re-organize materiel as needed. Conductswarehouse locationmaintenance and provide updates to the Stock Control Analyst as required.

  • Conducts and provides technical advice for location surveys, pre-inventories. Conducts and assists in determining causes to inventory discrepancies. Performs causative research and writes supporting statements to the Inventory Adjustment Report (IAR) or inventory discrepancies and / or DD Form 4949 for Administrative Adjustment when required.

  • Responsible for providing electronic information via a variety of communication means, email, WorkGroups etc. to theAccountable Officer, Logistics Supervisor and Stock Control Analyst.

  • Responsible for reviewing catalog data information on inventory assets for recommending a correctcourse of action for receipt, storage, issue, and or disposition of assets.

  • Ensures all supply documentation is file in accordance with AR 25-400-2.

  • Assist will surveys, inventory of all Stock Record Account / List of Material Account equipment.

  • Responsible for the up keep of the List of Material Account Signature Card book.

  • Ensures that inventory assets with serial numbers assigned have the serial number recorded on the receipt document and/or the issue document prior to processing material for receipt issue or shipment.

  • Ensures Materiel Release Orders/Call Out are accurate and correct by verifying the document against the units request to ensure the item and quantity requested agree. Ensures Serial numbers for materiel is recorded on the Materiel Release Order as required.

  • Responsible for providing electronic information via a variety of communication means, email, Work Groups etc. to the Manager, Supervisor, peers and subordinates.

  • Ensures disposition instruction is requested using applicable automated methods such as Electronic Mail (EMAIL) using the Local Area Network (LAN) system to the appropriate Source of Supply or 21st Theater Sustainment Command (TSC) Theater Army Materiel Management Center (TAMMC) and 2nd Signal Theater Brigade.

  • Ensures all excess equipment is properly disposed of by using the local Defense Logistics Agency.

  • Required to provide a location change sheet for all equipment move from location to location in the LOM warehouse.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • High School Graduate (or same level German Graduation)

  • Two year of experience in warehouse operations.

Skills:

  • Good problem solver, organizational skills, strong communicator, possesses analytical and interpersonal skills.

  • Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Other:

  • Knowledge/certified IGC, LIW, WEBSDR, AESIP.

  • Able to drive up to a 6000-pound forklift and operate a pallet jack.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Maybe required to lift items between 20 – 50 pounds.
