CNC Machinist : 1st and 2nd shift available!
Our machine shop operates from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
Employees on the second shift receive an additional $5 per hour.
Job Description
We are seeking skilled and experienced CNC Machinist Setup professionals to join our manufacturing team. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. Our lot sizes typically range from 1 to 30 pieces, and we prioritize precision and quality over high-volume production.
Responsibilities
Set up and prepare CNC machines for operation, including loading and securing materials, tools, and fixtures.
Load and unload workpieces into the CNC machine using hoists, cranes, or other lifting equipment.
Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
Monitor and adjust machine settings, tool offsets, and workpiece positions to maintain quality standards and achieve desired results.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the machining process, such as tool wear, machine malfunctions, or dimensional deviations.
Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Essential Skills
3-5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Mill Setup professional.
Experience with lathes and mills, including 3-6 axis machines.
Ability to read and interpret G & M code programs and perform minor edits.
Knowledge of Okuma VTL's CNC (V760Ex and V80R), Genos M660-v.
Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.
Experience in reading prints and performing quality checks.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00
