PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for a Technician, Aircraft Engine in Wichita, Kansas.

Job Title: Technician, Aircraft Engine

Job Type: Full time; contract

Location: Wichita, KS 67209

Pay Rate: $34.00-$45.00 per hour

Job Description

What are your contributions to the team?

  • Adhere to General Work Requirements.

  • Perform periodic inspections of engines and aircraft components.

  • Troubleshoot and repair engine and aircraft issues on-site and off-site.

  • Assist in complex repairs and engine replacements.

  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble engines.

  • Replace Line Replaceable Units (LRU) as needed.

  • Assist with fueling/defueling and engine operational checks.

  • Support ground support equipment operations.

  • Perform basic sheet metal and electrical repairs.

  • Reinstall obstructing aircraft components.

  • Perform Designated Inspector (DI) functions as qualified.

  • Assist colleagues within your qualification areas.

How to thrive in this role?

  • You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license

  • You typically have 3 years' experience in aircraft turbine engine maintenance

  • You have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals

Pay Details: $34.00 to $45.00 per hour
