Sales Tax Specialist - Join Our Dynamic Tax Compliance Team!

Are you a detail-oriented professional who thrives on solving complex tax puzzles? We're seeking a talented Sales Tax Specialist to join our team and help drive excellence in multi-state tax compliance.

As our Sales Tax Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of managing tax compliance for diverse business clients across multiple jurisdictions. This role offers the perfect blend of analytical thinking, problem-solving, and client communication, making every day both challenging and rewarding.

What You'll Do

• Drive accurate tax reporting by preparing and analyzing comprehensive sales reports for multiple business clients

• Manage end-to-end tax filing processes across various jurisdictions, ensuring timely submissions and payments

• Handle a dynamic portfolio of 20-30 clients, processing 200-300 filings monthly

• Conduct independent research on sales and use tax regulations to ensure compliance

• Collaborate with filing jurisdictions to resolve complex tax matters, including rates, penalties, and due dates

• Utilize advanced tax software platforms including OneSource, Rightview Web, ANTS, and Avalara TTR

• Provide exceptional client service through professional communication and prompt resolution of tax notices

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of sales/use tax compliance experience, with multi-state tax work expertise

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree (Accounting preferred)

• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving abilities

• Proven experience in high-volume tax environments

• Excellence in prioritization and managing multiple complex projects

• Proficiency in tax compliance software and Microsoft Office Suite

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00
