Description
Job Functions:
- Perform receiving inspection in support of outside processing activities
- Approve internal chemical processing production by confirming specifications; conduction visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Participates in frequent and detailed recurrent training courses covering aerospace systems and requirements, company operations policy, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit and Harlow Aerostructures LLC.
Position Requirements
Skills Required:
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret customer specifications and standards
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Windows/Microsoft Office
- Self-motivated and well organized
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work and interact with departments throughout the organization
- Must pass yearly Inspector Vision Exam
Education and Experience Required:
- High School diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in the Aerospace Industry, preferred
- Experience with micrometers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, etc.
