Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing packaging machinery, including blow mold and bagging equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on packaging machinery to ensure optimal performance.

• Identify and resolve mechanical issues in blow mold, bagging, and other packaging equipment.

• Conduct repairs on various machines, including welding and fabrication as needed.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

• Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in industrial maintenance, particularly in packaging or manufacturing environments.

• Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Strong troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and fix issues.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and good manufacturing practices.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of mechanical systems and components used in packaging machinery.

• Familiarity with electrical systems, including wiring and circuit troubleshooting.

• Ability to work with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment commonly found in packaging lines.

• Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly.

• Ability to assess situations and make informed decisions under pressure.

• Effective communication with production teams and other maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.

• Skill in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

• Understanding of safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

• Precision in performing maintenance tasks to prevent future issues.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing equipment and processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
