BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Exciting opportunity to become certified in an evidence-based Family First program that provides intensive prevention services to families in their home. The FCT Specialist or Therapist provides healing and hope to children and families through Family Centered Treatment program. New hires will complete a self-guided online training courses and make consistent progress toward achieving FCT Certification from the FCT Foundation through videotaped demonstration of competencies. Ability to work from home when not in session with assigned families. Must demonstrate ability to work alone and in a team effectively. Must be able to receive feedback from peers. Carry a caseload of no more than 5 families, spending an average of 4 hours per week with clients, a minimum of 2 weekly contacts, in compliance with the FCT model.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assigned caseloads are limited to 5 families, spending an average of 4 hours per week with a minimum of 2 weekly contacts.
- Enroll in Wheels of Change and complete FCT certification within 1 year of start date.
- Attends and participates in weekly team supervision meetings where cases are reviewed, and feedback is provided.
- Complete and maintain all program fidelity documents, reports, and assessments in a timely manner reflecting the FCT language.
- Provides intervention to families in crisis situations.
- Provides FCT in-home family treatment, adhering to and ensuring fidelity to the FCT model.
- Ability to prioritize cases for multiple clients.
- Serves as liaison with DCF, courts, schools, other providers, and community.
- Complete and maintain all program fidelity documents in a timely manner.
- Completes reports for court and attends when needed.
