As the Emergency Preparedness Analyst, you will support incident response through the use of your crisis management experience and training. The Emergency Preparedness Analyst will manage the emergency mass communications platform and support Firm Security Services, as well as the Firm Security Operations Center (FSOC). The successful candidate will utilize their project management experience to track man-made and natural disaster response initiatives and ensure program development requirements are on schedule. The successful candidate will be a highly effective communicator that can develop and present metrics and project management timelines to a wide variety of stakeholders. You will play a key role in the broader incident management program within the KPMG organization by assisting with the overall strategy, design, and execution of program development.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with high attention to detail. They have extensive experience collaborating with diverse partners, leading programs, and driving program compliance. This person is a self-motivated, agile team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is willing to challenge existing solutions.This is a full-time, remote position, Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm EST.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute all aspects of program and project management from project initiation through completion, including identifying dependencies, risk mitigation, working with stakeholders, escalating critical roadblocks, developing and delivering communications, and tracking and reporting on implementation.
  • Develop KPMGs crisis management template and create playbooks for various types of emergency scenarios
  • Work closely with a wide variety of business units, stakeholders, contractors, and vendors.
  • Lead incident management policy development and drive policy compliance.
  • Manage the Emergency Mass Notification System platform and assist with broad communication during incidents.
  • Develop scalable processes for crisis management protocols, training, awareness, and compliance.
  • Ability to quickly adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
  • Project Management: Tracking project schedules, metrics, coordinating meetings and calls, administering and managing content, overseeing multiple project-level efforts, ensuring execution of action items, and similar activities.
  • Communications:
    • Ensure effective communications with security personnel, KPMGs employees, and vendors to support effective safety and security operations.
    • Manage and/or create emergency communications, communications messaging, coordinating response activities, managing document workflow, scribing several meetings, tracking action items, or other activities.
  • Some domestic travel may be required
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • 4+ years of crisis management experience with a firm grasp of formal crisis management framework and processes.
  • Project/program management experience in the safety/security field, preferably in a fast-paced global organization
  • Emergency Mass Notification System experience required and experience with OnSolve preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort in collaborating with executives and senior leaders.
  • Professionalized attention to detail and ability to manage resources and timelines while maintaining clear, consistent, and concise communication with all stakeholders.
  • The ability to present ideas, bring strategies to life, and incorporate feedback into your iterative work.
  • Experience in developing metrics and modern briefing materials is a plus
