2025 Internship - Continuous Improvement

JOB SUMMARY:

In this position, interns will utilize and develop their basic knowledge ofLean deployment to help to design, analyze, and improve a Continuous Improvement oriented culture. This opportunity enables an individual to grow and innovate while being able to experience across-functionalwork environment and implement new technologies in buildingworld-classaircraft.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lean Manufacturing.

• Throughwork, assist CI team todrive implementation of Lean activities and development of a continuous improvement focused culture.

• Systematically works through operations projects using PDCA/Scientific Method. Reads, interprets, and makes recommendations based upon technical specifications, blueprints, and other technical data available.

• Focuses projects and activities on identification and correction of issues impacting Safety, Quality, Volume, Cost, and People Morale.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following:

• Mechanical Engineering

• Manufacturing Engineering

• Manufacturing Engineering Technology

• Industrial Engineering

• Sciences

• Technology

• Other related fields

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
