Radiology Account Specialist
Full-Time, Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm
Responsibilities: Register patients, notify patient of payment amount for imaging procedures and general account questions. Collect and post payments daily, update insurance and patient account information, audit tickets. Work closely with patients, co-workers, and physicians on a professional level.
Previous receptionist and cashier experience Must be able to answer multi-line phones Verify insurance benefits and coverage Exceptional customer service skills, and telephone etiquette Basic computer skills and knowledge Experience with the following office equipment: copier, printer, fax machine and 10 key calculator Previous medical office experience a plus Familiar with Radiology terminology a plus Knowledge of insurance and medical fee guidelines
