Description Construction/manufacturing company is currently seeking a dedicated and meticulous Full Charge Bookkeeper for an onsite position. This position in in Whitmore Lake, MI and is 100% FULLY ONSITE. The ideal candidate must be experienced in managing all facets of the company's financial procedures, from the creation of financial transactions and the posting of those transactions, to generating reports from that information. Pay rate of up to $34 per hour, depending on experience. Applications are welcomed from candidates only meeting the necessary requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.

Perform daily accounting tasks such as monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, and record payments and adjustments.

Gather, analyze, and report the financial data to management for decision making.

Maintain records of all business transactions, assets, liabilities, income and expenses, and other financial activities in the organization.

Liaise with the company's external auditors or tax agents as needed.

Operate with strict confidentiality, ensuring the integrity of all financial data.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous 3+ years of experience in a similar role is required.

Experience with QuickBooks or other ERP systems.

Must be proficient in Excel

Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High level of accuracy and efficiency.
