Job Description: Senior Software Engineer / Technical Manager (Mainframe space)

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Software Engineer / Technical Manager in the mainframe space. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing complex software development projects, as well as providing design and technical guidance and expertise to the team. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of software engineers in the mainframe space, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mainframe applications, adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and project managers, to gather requirements, analyze system designs, and propose technical solutions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, promoting professional development and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Review code for quality, maintainability, and adherence to standards, conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
Identify and resolve technical issues or bottlenecks, working closely with team members to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and functional designs.
Coordinate with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of mainframe applications.
Assist in resource planning and allocation, ensuring that projects are appropriately staffed and managed for optimal efficiency.
