Senior Business Analyst (ACE American Insurance Company (Chubb)) (Jersey City, NJ): Supporting analytics processes across multiple functions and business units in operation through leveraging complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions; Collaborating with business units to understand and prioritize questions and potential problem areas across the business, then provide high-quality data, insights, and experimentation support to drive goal attainment and strategy; Supporting development of strategic measurement frameworks and playbooks to form the basis of ongoing performance assessment and optimization across a variety of internal teams; Gathering, refining, and analyzing data to provide information that supports decision making and process improvements; Creating a Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, and managing User stories; Determining which data sources, key fields, and reporting tools best address business issues; Collaborating with internal IT teams to maintain reporting environments and design new data warehousing strategies to meet business analytical needs; Overseeing and participating in sprint planning, daily scrums, testing, retrospectives, and sprint reviews; Collaborating with UX Designers to provide them input to build UI Designs to achieve top customer experience; Preparing and presenting analytical reports of data to reflect status of initiatives and activities; Implementing processes and redesign of supporting business processes (which may include software implementation processes); Participating on cross functional teams to design, develop, and implement measurement solutions; and Partnering with analytics teams to drive best practices, centralize analytic capabilities, and develop advanced analytics and models to optimize business outcomes. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Extensive knowledge of the Billing Domain and Applications related to the Domain specially Majesco; In-depth business knowledge of how billing and collections are managed in financial institutions; Knowledge in data analytical tools such as SQL management studio, XSLT, JSON, MySQL, HTML, and Swagger to analyze issues and suggest fixes; Experience triaging and analyzing issues that are reported from the agents/insured; Demonstrated ability to work with all levels in the business from the Help desk to the senior management, explaining analysis and suggestions for fixes/enhancements; Solid knowledge of modern billing platform to support functional enhancements to the Billing Application by documenting requirements while understanding & discussing how it impacts and affects current functionalities; Experience acting as an Agile practitioner to work concurrently with at least 2-3 product delivery squads; QA testing role experience to create the product backlog and assigns user stories to each sprint; Experience working with the QA testers to assign the stories and monitor progress of testing providing feedback when required, and finally reviewing the results;Experience defining stories and prioritizing the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of components for the team; Data mapping expertise between applications and Datawarehouse; Demonstrated ability to perform gap analysis in billing application and help design customer friendly UI screens with billing vendor based on business requirements; Demonstrated understanding of billing and financial flows to formulate information requested by the business into meaningful reports that empower critical decisions; and Demonstrated ability to lead and conduct workshops, business requirements meetings and brainstorming sessions. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Data Science, Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least three (3) years of experience in the IT sector as a Technical Analyst, Business Analyst, Test Analyst or related occupation. In the alternative, no degree and five years of experience in the above-mentioned occupation. Option to work from home partially is available. Salary: $163,238.00/year.
