Our client in the Dutchess County, NY area has an opening for Senior Financial Analyst. The Senior Financial Analyst will be required to perform a variety of tasks including the processing and maintenance of fixed asset records, financial reporting, and variance analysis. This is a Contract to Permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process and maintain fixed asset records.

• Conduct thorough financial reporting and analysis.

• Manage month-end close procedures.

• Perform variance analysis to identify differences between the budget and actual financial outcomes.

• Implement depreciation procedures and maintain relevant records.

• Prepare and present monthly budget variance reports.

• Utilize strong Excel skills to perform financial analysis and forecasting.

• Work with the ERP system, PowerPlan, to manage financial data and processes.

Requirements

Advanced Excel required!

• Expertise in Month End Close procedures is crucial.

• Proficiency in maintaining and managing Fixed Asset Records is required.

• Experience in handling Fixed Assets is a must.

• The candidate should have substantial experience in Variance Analysis.

• Knowledge and understanding of Depreciation is essential.

• The role demands extensive experience in Financial Reporting.

• Skill in conducting Financial Analysis is necessary.

• The candidate should be adept at Budgeting and Forecasting tasks.
