Actalent Project Architect in White Plains, New York

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Project Architect with a passion for designing aquatic facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in architectural design, project management, and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of aquatic environments. This role involves leading the design and execution of aquatic projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality, functional, and aesthetically pleasing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of aquatic facilities, including swimming pools, water parks, and aquatic centers.

  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to understand project requirements and deliver innovative design solutions.

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.

  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to integrate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into the design.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to aquatic design.

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

  • Licensed Architect with (X) years of experience in architectural design and project management.

  • Proven experience in designing and managing aquatic projects.

  • Strong proficiency in architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification is a plus.
