Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a File Clerk in the industry located in WHITE PLAINS, New York, United States. As a File Clerk, your core duties will be handling and organizing physical files, along with performing computer-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform computer-related tasks effectively

• Assist with the review of physical files as needed

• Take charge of boxing physical files for organization

• Move physical files to designated areas

• Maintain and update file systems for optimal organization

• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality

• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Proficiency in computer skills is essential, with a focus on data entry and the ability to use relevant software such as Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience or familiarity with managing physical files is required, including organizing, storing, and retrieving documents as necessary.

• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate filing and record keeping.

• Ability to lift and move heavy file boxes, demonstrating physical stamina.

• Excellent organizational skills to maintain an efficient and accessible filing system.

• Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and respond to requests for files or information.

• Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth operations.

• A high school diploma or equivalent education level is required.

• Previous experience in a similar role or office environment would be advantageous.
