Assists the physical, occupational and speech therapist in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established methods and procedures of the Rehabilitation Services Department and the hospital. Assists with clerical duties of Rehabilitation Services and other assigned supportive tasks as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. High School graduate or equivalent. 2. Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE: 1. Two months previous hospital experience preferred.

- Responsible for assisting the licensed clinicians in the treatment of patients, adhering to instructions given by the clinicians and following established treatment routines.
- Responsible for cleaning and management of rehabilitation equipment.
- Manages patient charge reconciliation on a daily basis, including charge entry and corrections as needed.
- Responsible for transporting patients as assigned with attention to safety.
- Manages supplies and inventory for rehabilitation services including ordering materials and stocking as needed.
- Maintains statistics regarding volumes, revenue, and expenses for rehabilitation services on a monthly basis.
- Calculates and reports daily productivity to Director and Team Leaders.
- Additional tasks supportive to Rehabilitation Services may be assigned as needed.
