Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
Candidates will be using calipers and micrometers to inspect parts coming off the machine, to ensure specification are met per customer expectations. This position is a stationary role, and has the option for sitting down.
Responsibilities
Use calipers and micrometers to inspect parts.
Interpret and work with blueprints.
Perform visual inspections of tiny parts.
Ensure quality standards are met for all inspected components.
Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience with micrometers and calipers
Attention to detail for inspecting tiny parts
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in quality inspection
Visual inspection skills
Experience with precision instruments

Work Environment
Work in an AC-controlled, updated area within the precision department, featuring 100 different CNC machines, including 83 Swiss machines and 17 mill/lathe machines. You will be part of a team with 46 employees on the first shift and 26 on the second shift. No weekend work is required.

This position is located out of Wheeling, IL 60090.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00
