*Visitor Specialist PART-TIME: * If you enjoy customer service and can picture yourself being an expert in all of the awesome things happening in Platte County, please keep reading! The Platte County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center is looking for a part-time visitor specialist. You will be providing helpful suggestions for where to stay, what to eat, and things to do. The visitor specialist will be expected to warmly greet visitors, listen to their questions and needs and respond with helpful information. The ideal candidate would be customer service oriented, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have an interest in getting to know tourist attractions around Platte County. *Essential duties and Responsibilities: * Enhance the visitor experience, maintain records of visitation numbers and visitor data, must be able to lift at least 30lb boxes of brochures or maps, help with any Platte County Chamber of Commerce events, be able to work Saturday and Sunday for five hours each day, maintain brochures and brochure closets and fold brochures.
